I have problems with the image transfer - what can I do?

If you cannot see the notary or yourself in the videoconference, this may be due to the security settings of your browser, computer or network. 

If possible, please try the following:

  • Remove or stop browser extensions, such as ad blockers or VPN connection.
  • Change the browser and restart the application.
  • (Temporarily) lower the security settings of your firewall for connections to notar.de.
  • If this does not lead to an improvement, use the browser via guest access or a private window.

To conduct videoconferences, the following authorisations should be granted on the system or network used:

  • Host name: online-verfahren.notar.de / Network protocol and port: TCP (443)
  • Host name: coturn-3.notar.de / network protocol and port: TCP (443) and UDP (443)
  • Host name: videokonferenz.notar.de / network protocol and port: TCP (443) and optionally UDP (10 000) to increase the video quality
