I cannot select my webcam. What can I do?

In the event that you cannot select your webcam and therefore cannot join the video conference, make sure that the camera is connected and activated. Check that the camera is not already being used by another programme (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex or a browser). If the camera was already in use, close the corresponding programme. If the camera is still not available to you in the selection, please end your attempt and start the online procedure in a new browser.

If necessary, check the settings in the Windows privacy options under "Privacy" in the "Camera" tab beforehand. Make sure that the webcam image is displayed in the Windows camera app. The camera app may need to be downloaded free of charge from the Microsoft Store.
