The Bundesnotarkammer (hereinafter referred to as “BNotK” or “we”) takes the protection of your personal data, e.g. information on personal and factual relationships of an identified or identifiable natural person, very seriously. 3. Processing of personal data
The collection, processing and use of your personal data is made in strict compliance with the provisions laid down in the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”). When you visit our website, personal data is therefore only collected, processed and used to the extent that this is permitted by law. This also applies to the transfer of personal data. The processing of your personal data is carried out exclusively in our data centres located in Germany.

b) Matomo
Our website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo and the associated plugins Matomo Marketing Campaigns Reporting and Matomo Tag Manager. Matomo employs technologies that enable cross-page user recognition in order to analyse user behaviour. This enables the collection of the number of page views and user-related information for statistical and analytical purposes. We immediately anonymise the IP addresses so that no personal reference can be made. Matomo collects the following user-related information from us, provided you have consented to this:
